The Comic
In the winter of 2009, I took a ten day trip to Israel
through Taglit-Birthright, a group that gives the gift
of a first-time trip to Israel.
I went on this trip with 39 other artists.
During my time (before and during) the trip, I kept an
illustrative diary to share Israel with others and to
keep the memory of this life-changing trip alive.
The Artist
I am Michael Jonathan and I'm a 25 year-old
cartoonist, living in Silver Lake California with my
girlfriend Nan Lawson and our two cats, Dodger and
Milhouse. I also do the online comic "Eros Inc." about
Cupids living and working in Los Angeles.
I am also Jewish.
